> pink-pixie-dust <     Talos swished his tail, walking down the beautiful streets of Eden. He hummed along to the beat of his footsteps. Most cats looked at him and smiled, because Talos was very popular. He felt his stomach growl and got close to the market place. Weaving in and out of the tables and shops, he finally got to an open tent, with meat on sticks cooking. He craned his neck to see thick pieces of meat cooking on a skillet. His mouth watered.
"I'd like one of those" He said, pointing to it. Paying for it, he started walking again, and dug into his food. Still walking, he kept his eyes on his food, not his feet. He jumped back in surprise as he ran into a cat, almost knocking her over.
"I'm so sorry!" Talos gasped, still holding his meat stick.

> melfurny <     Crystal whipped her head around to catch a cat's worried blue gaze. Crystal felt bad and her fur felt hot with embarrassment. She could tell this cat was popular, for many cats were friendly towards this cat. Crystal observed this cat; the cat was a strong male cat. He has a brown pelt with blue eyes.
"It is not your fault, I shouldn't have gotten in your way, I need to pay better attention." meowed Crystal, nervously.
"My name is Crystal, what is yours?" asked Crystal, she still felt bad. He was carrying a stick with pieces of meat attached to it. Crystal looked at the meat, and then looked into his eyes. She wished she could do something to prove she was sorry. As she scanned the area, worried she might have drawn attention to herself.

> pink-pixie-dust <     The she cat was completely white, and shorter than Talos. He wished he would've been paying attention, instead of eating. His cheeks burned in a blush.
"No... I wasn't looking" He said, still embarrassed. He smiled brightly at her. "My names Talos, I'm the Colonel of the Red Falcon army." He liked to address who he was, for it made him sound like he was very important. He was, and he had a high rank. He saw her eyes look across the market place, and he turned to see what she was looking at. There were maybe six cats watching them.
"Let's get out of here, how 'bout that?" He leaned down and whispered in her ear.

> melfurny <    The Colonel of The Red Falcon Army? Wow, I have just meant the Colonel. Crystal then noticed his gaze skipping over to were see she was looking, to where six cats were watching them. After he suggested leaving and going somewhere, Crystal then looked up into his eyes. Crystal then nodded.
"Where to?" Crystal whispered back.

> pink-pixie-dust <    Talos smiled as she looked at him. "Let's go out to the hunting grounds. I always go out there to train new soldiers and to get some fresh kill. I like to hunt." Talos said, not even aware that she was a hunter also. He started heading off to the hunting grounds, remembering all the new soldiers who had gotten their title there. He sighed and smiled.

> melfurny <    Once out in the hunting grounds, Crystal stood with her chin held high as a soft breeze blow by. Her fur was ruffling up in the wind. She looked behind her to see Talos standing behind her. His fur was fluffing up to. Crystal suddenly heard little claws scrap the ground. Her head whipped around in the direction of the sound. She could taste mouse scent ahead. Crystal then slowly got into a hunting crouch and after a few moments she leaped. She then swiftly threw the mouse in the air and then caught it once it fell. She killed it in one bit to the back of the neck.

> pink-pixie-dust <    "Wow! Amazing!" Talos exclaimed as she killed the mouse with no effort. She was a natural. "Wait... Are you a hunter?" Talos asked, his eyes bright and his fur ruffling, each smooth strand blowing in the wind. Talos had always respected hunters. If he wasn't a colonel, he would be a hunter for sure.

> melfurny <    "Thanks," meowed Crystal. "Yep, I am a hunter," replied Crystal. Crystal dropped the mouse at his feet. "What is like being Colonel?" asked Crystal , curiously.   She looked up at Talos. She thought it was interesting being a Colonel. Crystal then heard a sound. Crystal whipped around to see a male weaver rat. It was not to happy with Crystal and Talos being there. It looked at the two cats crossly. It began to show it's fangs. Crystal hissed back at it, but was afraid, she is a hunter, she doesn't know how to fight.

> pink-pixie-dust <     Talos smiled. She was very sweet."Well, you give a lot of order, take a lot of orders. And sometimes-" Talos cut off, seeing the smaller she-cat hiss. His eyes darted up and he saw a huge weaver rat baring its teeth at them. Instincts took over, and Talos shoved Crystal behind him. Talos was very noble, and he'd give his life for this she-cat." Get behind me" He growled, puffing up to twice his size and snarling at the weaver rat. Like lightning, Talos swung forward and ripped at the weaver's head, smacking his paw across it. His feet strongly took off the ground and kicked the weaver rat in the throat.

> melfurny <   Crystal got behind Talos quickly. Crystal was shocked, grateful and scared. She was shocked because no one has ever done something like this before for her. She was grateful because that was very brave, and noble to do something like this. And she was scared for his life. Crystal watched in complete awe. Talos was very brave...and kind of handsome. Crystal saw him easily kill the weaver rat. she was astonished by his skills.
"Thank you," gasped Crystal. "No one has ever done that for me,"

> pink-pixie-dust <     Talos had barely broke a sweat at all. A real battle was much harder then this. He turned around and smiled. She looked shocked. "You're welcome! And I guess some cats just don't have manners like-" Talos cut off when he heard another high squeal. Turning around, he saw two more weaver rats. Two more males, coming there way. Talos stepped back, his eyes darting from Crystal to the weaver rats.

> melfurny <   Crystal looked at his beautiful blue eyes, then whipping her head around to the sound of a high squeal. Two male weaver rats stared at them crossly. Crystal caught Talos's eyes darting between her and the rats. Crystal didn't know how to fight but she owned him. She had her hunting skills. Crystal hissed crossly at the weaver rats, at leaped at the one in front of her. Both weaver rats hissed in surprise. Crystal aimed straight for the throat. Once Crystal felt flesh under paw, she bite down hard on the weaver rat's back. Crystal quickly hopped off the weaver rat, swigging under his neck and swiftly biting the throat. She felt hot blood bathe her mouth. She kept hanging on to its throat till she was sure it was dead. She quickly looked over to Talos to see he had killed the other.
"We need to get out of this area," meowed Crystal. "Maybe we should go to a different part of the hunting grounds," Crystal continued.

> pink-pixie-dust <    Talos took on the much bigger weaver rat of the two. He snarled and flew onto its back, biting it. But he got thrown off. Getting back up like it was nothing, he jumped back, aiming for it's eyes. Slashing it with his mighty paws, he scored deeply into the weaver's skull. While it reared back, he jumped forward, piercing its neck.
"Yeah" Talos Panted. "You lead." He keep a close eye on the aera, waiting to kill.

> melfurny <     Crystal padded away from the clearing, leading to a meadow in the hunting grounds, far from the area where they were attacked. Crystal started to clean the blood off her pelt. She looked up at Talos, he was cleaning as well.
"So, do you have any brothers? sisters?" asked Crystal.
> pink-pixie-dust <    Talos smiled as she cleaned her fur. She was cute... He had to admit it.
"I had a sister. I think she's still alive... I hope so. I took care of her." Talos didn't want to add that he had gotten his heart broken by a she-cat when he lived back home.
> pink-pixie-dust<     Talos's deep blue eyes sparkled like the ocean at sunset. He breathed in, letting the slight wind ruffle his fur. Leaning down, he pulled his tongue across his fur, blissfully taking his time.
His blue eyes darted up to Crystal as she spoke.
"I have a sister. A younger one. I know she's still alive, I saw her recently. How amazing she's turning out to be." He purred.
"What about you," His eyes landed on Crystal. "Any siblings?"
> melfurny <       "My brother's name is Fury...his name fits him well. Also my sister's name is Fayna. My mother died when I was younger, her name was Jewel. My father's name is Slivius, when my mother died he had a break down. I had to step up and take care of the family," meowed Crystal. Crystal always came to the hunting grounds to get away from many things, Her brother mostly. Her brother always paranoid her. She had to come here to the hunting grounds often to get mice, rabbits and so on, so she could sell it and get meat for her family. She was glad she meant Talos. He was very kind and brave. Crystal had to admit, she liked him. Maybe more then a friend...Crystal looked up at the sky it was pink and orange, it was sunset already. Crystal didn't want to leave. she stopped cleaning and looked up at the sun to watch it set.

> pink-pixie-dust <     "I'm sorry to hear that, Crystal" Talos said, and smoothly bent down to lick her cheek. His eyes flowed back up to the beautiful sunset. He smiled, feeling the wind blow his fur once more. He sat in silence for a few moments, and then turned to her.
"I could walk you home, If you want..." He ventured, his eyes sparking.

>melfurny <        "It is okay," Crystal meowed. She felt Talos lick her cheek. She continued to watch the sunset. She loved the feel of the wind on her fur, and him next to her. She didn't want this to end. Crystal heard him offer to walk her home. Crystal would love to, but first she wanted to show him something.
"Come with me, I want to show you a place where my mother and father meant. Crystal then got up and lead the way. She looked back, but only to not see Talos, but then to look to her right to see him there, keeping the pace. Crystal began to speed up, starting a little race. Tals stayed right there, not slowly down at all. Crystal then lead him across the meadow, all the way to a few trees. Then once she lead him threw the tree, and they came across two giant rocks slanted and leaning on each other. Long twirly vines trailed from the top of the rocks, down to the ground.
She entered it, then lead Talos into a clearing with a little waterfall across from them. All around flowers bloomed. The soft green grass, felt great under her paws. She padded forward toward the waterfall, she stopped by it's edge and sat down. The sunset reflected off of the water, making the clearing a strange color, with the water.
"My mother used to be bring Fayna and me here. This soon became our little hideout. But when mother died, we only came here once. We wanted her buried here, but then again we wanted this place a secret. And so, we came here to place some of her stuff here, in a tree stump," meowed Crystal.
She lead him over to the tree stump where her mother's stuff laded. There was a bracelet with jade beads. Another was a white necklace, what her father had given her mother.
"Our mother taught Fayna and me a song, that her mother taught her, and it was passed down on her side of the family. I am not that good of a singer but I want you to know it," explained Crystal. Crystal then began to sing with a voice like silk.
"Make new friends, but keep the old.
One is sliver and the others gold.
A circles round, it has no end,
thats how long I want to be your friend."
The entire time she sang, she looked into Talos's eyes.
"This song always makes me think of mom...but now...it makes me think of you..." meowed Crystal slowly, looking deeply into Talos's deep blue eyes.

> pink-pixie-dust <    Talos was interested by what she had to show him. It was stunning really, and her story was very sad. Talos listened silently, and noded. The place was gorgues, really. He felt calm by the way it looked."That's a beautiful necklace" He commented. His eyes sparkled and he looked up, hearing her smooth soft voice flow through the air. 'Friends?' He thought with a smile. He loved having friends..."I'm honored, really, that you think of me when you hear that song" Talos meowed, flicking his tail.

> melfurny <      "Thank you," meowed Crystal, after his very kind compliment. Crystal was happy to hear him to say that he was glad to be her friend. Crystal was very happy when he said he was honored. Crystal's fur changed colors because of the sunset's reflection on the waterfall. She looked over at Talos, his fur was to. Crystal looked up at the sky, the sun was on the horizon and the sky above them was dark and had stars beginning to shine, the moon was full. She could stay here all night if she wanted to. She loved this place.

> pink-pixie-dust <    Talos blissfully sighed. It was so beautiful... So amazing. He smiled and looked over to Crystal."Let me take you home. I don't want any thugs or monsters trying to hurt you."Standing right next to her, he let his pelt brush hers. She was so warm. He playfully flicked his tail with hers. "Where do you live?" He asked, walking through the meadow with her. Then sun was set, and the moon was their only light.

> melfurny <    "Oh, you're to kind," meowed Crystal, smiling at his request. He was doing what he did best, being kind, and caring. She respected that. She could feel his pelt brush hers, she was very glad she meant him. Suddenly, she felt him flick his tail with her own.
"My family and I live outside of the city. We live near the hunting grounds, the meadow part. We live in a small home. It has a garden out back, and a stream rushing beside it, all we need to do is just head the right side of the city, and we can just simply cross over the meadow and we will be there," explained Crystal. She looked up at the moon, it being their only light, other then a few stars here and there. She love stargazing. It was as much fun to her as watching the sunset. She looked back over and caught Talos's gaze.

> pink-pixie-dust <     "Beautiful!" Talos said. He never lived out in the open. He lived in a wealthy neighborhood. "Do you still live there?" He asked. His blue eyes sparkled and seemed more brilliant than the stars in the sky. "If you want to, since we didn't eat, I could take you home and treat you to some dinner" Talos's voice was so light, but still deep. He had a beautiful voice, almost as stunning as his eyes. He remembered the mouse they lost back when they were fighting the weaver rat.

> melfurny <      "Thanks," meowed Crystal. "Yes, we still do live there," answered Crystal. His eyes were sparkling, they were as amazing as the stars in the sky. He offered to get her some dinner. He was very kind, she imagined what her brother would do if he meant Talos. Would they be friends or would Fury just be like he usually is, and annoy Talos to death. "Sure, I would love to, thank you so much," meowed Crystal. She would love to have dinner with Talos.

> pink-pixie-dust <      "Well just follow me!" Talos said merrily. He trotted on, through the field and through the city limits. "So, you can ask me anything.' Talos said, still walking on. He noticed how shady the city seemed to be at night. No life to it. Just dead...
He gave Crystal time to ask as many questions as he wanted, and he had enough time to answer before he heard something. Talos turned his head to see what it was, but he saw nothing. "Let's just turn here." Talos said. It was kind of like a hall, kinda of like an open valley. He was taking the other way to his house. The more secret way.
It was seconds before he heard a bloody screech, and looked up, he saw two cats jumping down onto the roof. Before Talos could move, the cat landed on him, immediately shoving his back to the wall. His eyes darted to Crystal, seeing she was being held up against the wall too, with a knife to her throat.
"Say anything and we'll kill you! Now, give us all your money and-"
"Hey, boss." the other cat said "This girls real pretty. Let's take her and leave the male." The other cat snickered. He slowly touched her chin, still holding her up against the wall.
Talos' mind raced. What could he do? Oh god...he thought. Then, very slowly, he moved his paw down to his belt, slowly holding the dagger up against his back.
"Yeah, let's take her" The boss cat agreed. He turned back to look at Crystal "She's mighty fine, and we can-" His voice cut off as Talos stabbed his shoulder. The cat cried out for help, and Talos dropped down to his feet. He saw the other cat still holding Crystal up against the wall. Roundhouse kicking the cat in the face, Talos quickly knocked the cat down to the floor. "Come on, we have to- Ah!" Talos cried out in pain as he felt claws dig into his back. His eyes darted up to Crystal and he saw that she had just gotten a long cut across her shoulder. Talos twisted back, managing to bite the cat and shove him off of his back and slice his face with his dagger. Helping Crystal, he pulled the other cat off of her and stabbed his back.
"Are you okay?" He panted "Come on, put your hurt shoulder on my back." He said, bending down, letting Crystal lay her arm on his back to put the pain off of it.

> melfurny <    "Okay," meowed Crystal. Talos was taking her to out to dinner, how kind. Crystal asked many questions along the way. Crystal followed him along the quiet city, it seemed so lifeless and quiet. Crystal thought it was to quiet. Crystal continued to follow Talos. Suddenly they were attacked. Crystal's eyes were darting all over. She was pushed against the wall, she could feel a knife to her throat, she looked over at Talos to see the same thing happened with him. She was ready to kill these bullies. She knew they were thieves after they asked for their money. After the one of them said she was pretty she began to try and squirm out of his grip. Suddenly Talos stabbed their shoulder. The cat holding her, still had a tight grip on her and she tried her best to get away, but she couldn't. After Talos kicked him in the face, the grip was released and she leaped away from the wall. She suddenly felt a harsh pain in her shoulder. She saw him stab both cats, then he offered to help her. She lay her arm over his back. She could hear a cat growling behind them.
"You won't get away with this," hissed the cat. "We will find you,and you will pay," threatened the cat. Talos and Crystal continued down the alley. He was leading the way to his house.

> pink-pixie-dust <   Talos let Crystal lean on him all she wanted, since she was hurt, and he was a lot stronger than her. Finally, they were home. Or at least his home. He kicked open the door, turned on the lights and pick Crystal up completely. He gingerly laid her down on his couch.
"I don't know a lot about herbs.. But at least I can clean it" er softy laid a wet rag onto her cut, cleaning it and wrapping a bandage around her shoulder.

> melfurny <      Once they were at his home, he put her on the couch. She was grateful, of wasn't there...well, she wouldn't have stood a chance. She suddenly felt bad, for several times today he saved her. She had to make it up to him...but she didn't know how. She twitched a little when he put the rag on her shoulder. It felt good, it felt good to have someone who is there for you. Talos then wrapped a bandage around her shoulder. She wondered if she was becoming a pain the neck, and if she was a burden...but she then pushed away the thought. She then wondered if he liked her...she was tired, so she decided not to think about that.
"Thank you Talos...you have been very kind and sweet, it really means a lot," meowed Crystal.

> pink-pixie-dust <    "Rest now, I'll make dinner." He said. Giving her a tender lick on the check, he turned and went to his small kitchen. He threw in what he had. Some meat, carrots, parsnips and water with seasoning. A let it cook, walking back in every now and then to clean up his living room. He draped a blanket over Crystal and walked back to the pot, finding it was pretty much done. He stirred it and put it in a bowl. Getting a serving for himself, the small pot was empty. he set the bowls down to cool off and he washed the pot. After he was done, he went over to wake up Crystal "Dinners ready" He said.

> melfurny <    "Thank you," purred Crystal. She then slowly drifted off to sleep.
*In a dream* Crystal was walking though a forest, it had tall green trees of all kinds, maples, oaks, sycamores and other types of great, old trees. Suddenly a twig snapped behind her. She then whipped around to see a she-cat. This she-cat looked like her, only had green eyes, and was a bit older then her. The she-cat eyes got real wide. as she stared at Crystal.
"Is...is you're name Crystal?" stammered the she-cat.
"Yes," replied Crystal.
"I-I am Pearl...are you...are you Jewel's daughter?" asked Pearl.
"Y-yes," answered Crystal.
"Oh-my-god!!!!" exclaimed Pearl. What was she freaking out about? thought Crystal.
"Surely this isn't r-real...right?" asked Crystal.
"I-I don't know," replied Pearl. Suddenly the forest and Pearl began to fade away.
"Crystal. Wake up," meowed Talos. "Dinner is ready," Talos added.
"Wha-?" asked Crystal as she got up. She then realized Talos made dinner. "How long was I asleep?" asked Crystal.

> pink-pixie-dust <     Talos gave her a little tap, then saw her awake. "Not that long. Here, eat up" He said, handing her the bowl of stew. "It might not be there best but I threw it together" Talos said. He sat down on the floor, eating it. It wasn't that bad, actually. He liked it. He looked up at Crystal and swallowed his food.  "You can stay here tonight" He said. "I'm fine with it"

> melfurny <     "Okay, thanks," meowed Crystal. Crystal gladly took the bowl, and began to eat. It was good. It had been awhile since the last time she had stew, it was very tasty. After his offer to spend the night, Crystal smiled.
"Thank you," replied Crystal. She was happy to have him as a friend. "Talos, have you ever meant the Princess? Or the Overseer...well it may be a dumb question, but, I want to know...what they are like," asked Crystal.

> pink-pixie-dust <     Talos smiled and nodded. He whisked his tail back and forth, then looked up at her. "Oh, well not the overseerer. I ran into the princess once. She seemed nice... But Mysterious. She was wearing a cape to protect her identity."

> melfurny <       "Oh, I haven't ever really meant either on of them," meowed Crystal. "...wait, you don't think those thugs know where you live...do they?" asked Crystal. "I mean, the one that hissed then threatened us seemed...to creep me out," added Crystal.

> pink-pixie-dust <     Talos was almost done with his bowl of stew. He was absolutely starving."No... I don't think so.. I mean, they could find out, but I live in the richer part of town and there more police here... But listen, you sleep in my room and I'll stay on my couch" He said. "I'm your friend, And I don't want anything to happen to you."

> melfurny <    "What? You sure? I don't want to be a bother or anything..." meowed Crystal. She felt like all she was doing was taking...not giving. She was glad he was kind and he was her friend. She enjoyed being with him.
"It is okay, I can sleep on the couch, it is your bed," continue Crystal.

> pink-pixie-dust <     "Crystal, I insist." Talos said. "Honestly, if those cats really do find me, I know how to fight more than you do.... You're my friend and i want to protect you." He said. He opened his bedroom door, walking in and fixed the bed. He had a dresser, shelves, a window and nick nacks, also photos.

> melfurny <    "Okay, thank you, Talos. You are a good friend," meowed Crystal. Crystal got up off the couch and slowly worked her way over to his bedroom. She felt bad...she felt as if she was intruding. It was very kind of Talos to do this for her.

> pink-pixie-dust <     Talos pulled back the covers on his bed. He walked over to his dresser where there was a picture of a pretty she-cat. Talos bent down and gave the picture a ginger kiss. "goodnight, my love." he whispered. He smiled down at the picture then turned to crystal. "Good night." he purred, then walked out. Exhausted, he flopped down on to the couch and fell asleep in no time.

> melfurny <        Crystal wondered who the cat was in the picture, she couldn't tell very well. Then again it wasn't any of her business. Crystal slowly feel into a deep, sleep. She didn't really dream this time. It was just black, but had thoughts all over the place.

> pink-pixie-dust <     "She's a she cat that I used to love..." Talos sighed, not wanting to say anything more. He would tell her later in he morning. When Talos awoke, he was surprised to find himself I his living room. He jerked awake, then realized that crystal was here. He stretched and yawned.

> melfurny <      Crystal wake up slowly. She jumped up when she realized she was in a strange home. It wasn't her bed. Then she remembered she was at Talos's house. When she jumped down from the bed, she staggered. Pain sheered through her, and she remembered her cut on her shoulder. She limped out of the room into the living room. She looked up and saw Talos getting up. She felt bad still. He saved her butt twice if not three times, and she was intruding she felt. She was grateful though. Her walk was no longer graceful in the morning because of this wound. She knew once it was healed, she could walk outside, tail high, and smile stretching across her face. She could hunt again. She had an idea. She would pay Talos back buy hunting. Crystal went up to Talos.
"I have an idea." meowed Crystal. "I can go hunting, and you can go to the city, to do whatever you wish to do...then when I am done hunting, I will meet you in the market. Is that alright with you?" asked Crystal, she felt like stretching her legs, she wanted to hunt.

> pink-pixie-dust <     Talos rolled ovver, his eyes lighting up when Crystal walked in the room. She was limping, and he waited for her to come to him. "But, can you hunt? You're hurt! I can take you to a healer, trust me... What happened to you was all my fault. I blame myself... If i didn't invite you, you wouldn't be hurt. " Talos said. "You don't have to pay me back, I've done enough damage. It's fine if you don't want to talk to me again" He said, quieter. Maybe her hunting was just a way to get away from him. "I'm really sorry.." He said, his blue eyes dull.

> melfurny <     "I can hunt even though I'm hurt," meowed Crystal. "No, you don't need to take me to a healer, thanks though," Crystal replied. "Talos, don't say that, it is not your fault, you didn't know," Crystal soothed. "I just want to hunt so I can strech my legs...it helps, I will return to you soon, I promise," meowed Crystal, stepping near the door, just wait here, I just want to hunt...it helps me to relax. I will return." Crystal begged. "I may any be gone awhile, but I shall miss you every second, I will be back in maybe five minutes. If I am not back in five minutes, then you can follow my scent and remind me, it is that okay? I truly enjoy being around you Talos, I really do," Crystal added.

> pink-pixie-dust <    Talos felt relieved about everything Crystal said. "I'm still really sorry" He said. But he was glad that she was okay. "Be careful" He said to her, and headed off to town.

> melfurny <   "It is alright Talos, I will be," meowed Crystal. Crystal stepped outside and felt the morning air rush to her. It felt very good, and calming. Crystal decided she would catch a mouse, then head back. Crystal lifted her head to catch a scent. Suddenly, her nose caught a wave of mouse scent coming from her right. She padded a ways forward and followed the scent. The streets were calm, not to many cats were out yet. Crystal then come up to where the scent come from, she turned her head to see an alley. She knew to be very careful, so she padded forward quiet and slowly. Once she was a few feet into the alley, she heard a tiny scratch. She got into a couch and looked around. Crystal then saw a little body, she then leaped. She quickly killed it with a swift bite.
"Nice catch," meowed smooth voice causally. "Don't I know you from somewhere?" the voice continued. Crystal whipped around to spot the cat that threatened them last night, the one that said he would find them. The cat crept forward, advancing toward Crystal slowly. Crystal began to back up. She still had the mouse dangling from her mouth.
"Don't even think of running...or screaming," he warned. "Come with me and we will have no problems..." he continued. Crystal then whipped her head around behind her, to see another cat.
"Is this the one that was with that male that killed them?" asked the new comer. Crystal could feel herself shake.
"There is no need to be scared doll face," meowed the first cat. She looked behind her to see him smirking. "We are going to take you to our home, where you get to meet the big boss," he continued. Crystal felt like she was doomed...wait, didn't I tell Talos that if I was gone for five minutes he could come and find me? wondered Crystal. But yet, even though he would know, would he stand a chance? He was an amazing fighter, but by the way these thugs are acting, it is beginning to seem like, they are teamed up, and there was quite a few of them. Crystal didn't want to, but the first cat pushed her forward, Crystal had no choice, she had to go...She then wished she knew how to fight. She was afraid that Talos was going to come, he would be in danger. She then looked up after they were walking through the alley for a few minutes. Ahead she saw a tall building, it looked abandoned. Crystal was shoved inside.
"Hello," meowed a new, deep voice. Crystal slowly looked up to see a muscular black tom. Crystal silently prayed Talos didn't come...maybe she could distract them, then escape.

> pink-pixie-dust <    Talos smiled at a shop keeper as he bought a carrot and and two potatoes. He liked these vegetables the most. because they were so good in soup, which was all Talos could cook.
He looked up at the sun, thinking when Crystal would be back. He told her he'd be in town, and this town was pretty small. Hopping she was okay, he slipped away to another shop. He looked at swords, daggers, knives. One really caught his eye. It had a long, silver blade with a velvety handle with a good grip. The blade was so sharp, barley touching it almost made Talos bleed. He smiled, seeing the swirly design on it. He bought it willingly, for a good price. Maybe it was used. It was a knife, not a dagger, since it was much longer.
Walking the way that Crystal went, he picked up her scent. It was fresh, for sure. He turned, seeing himself in the same alleyway that they were ambushed in, still reeking the scent of blood. Where was she, and-Wait.
Talos halted, his eyes widening, his pupils tiny. A small, dead mouse laying on the ground, that had Crystal's scent. His fur rose on its end, smelling another familiar smell. Running, Talos followed her scent, hoping he was going the right way.

> melfurny <      "This is the master's room, my room," explained the big boss. Crystal rolled her eyes at him. These thugs were so flirty and annoying. She wanted to the fur off of all of 'em. She was getting sick of their stupidity. They kept asking her if she liked their place, and if she wanted to stay...oh brother...wait...my brother, maybe he would find her scent and maybe Talos and him could take them...there was ten male thugs. She was sick of this place why on earth would she want to stay. The 'master's room' was big and had a large fancy bad. It had beautiful designs long the edges of the bed and on the blankets. The only thing she liked about this place so far...was the wonderful designs on the bed. Everywhere else was in need of cleaning and major help.
"Well madam, this place needs a lady...we need a little maid and cook, to help us with daily jobs and such," he meowed smoothly, as he crept toward Crystal. She could feel his front paw begin to touch her face, she flinched away, and bolted back down the stairs, down to the first floor.
Once down the stairs she felt two toms run over and grabbed her so she couldn't run out the door. She struggled, wiggled and trashed trying to slip away. Then everything went black. She woke up in a small room with cleaning tools and food and utensils to cook with. She looked around and noticed she was locked in the kitchen. This is no surprise, she thought. She looked around the dusty room and decided that since there was nothing better to do she grabbed a the small duster and began to clean the room.
"Hey doll face, master says for you to wear this, and to cook breakfast," meowed a tom outside the door. Then a flap in the door opened and a cloth flew into the room. Crystal walked over to the cloth to see what it was. Once there, she picked it up and discovered it was a dress, it had a long cut where the legs is and it was a small strapped dress, it was the same color as her eyes. And it had sparkles on it. Crystal decided she minus well put it on. She felt weak and pathetic, which was very out of character, she always has had a stubborn and tough character, but now...she had been captured by murderous thugs what could she do...maybe she could gain their trust and then when they are not looking...Crystal liked the idea...but she has never killed a cat before, it would be hard and...terrible.
"Hey, why don't I hear something cooking?" asked a cat outside. Crystal quickly padded over to the food and began making scrambled eggs. It would take awhile to gain their trust...but she had to do it. What if her brother actually did find her and Talos did to? She would have to help. She noticed their was a perfect spot where she could slip a sharp kitchen knife under her dress. So, when the time came, or if the thugs got any ideas...they can kiss her goodbye for good.

> pink-pixie-dust <      Talos found himself trotting up to a tall building. It scent of fear, and Crystal was fresh. Talos jumped into a bush at the front of the building when he heard someone walk outside. Talos peeked up, seeing the tom on watch. Just one, thank god. He looked tough... Rings and earnings and bracelets covered his body, with tattoos. Talos reached down, holding his new knife in his mouth. Getting his smaller dagger, he threw it at the tom. Hitting him right in the side, the tom jumped and screeched in pain and surprise. Talos jumped out of the bushes, flying into the tom and slicing his neck. He quickly pulled the dagger out of his side and looting his other weapons. Darts, and a dagger. Talos found himself creaking open the door and slipping inside.
"Boss, I put the girl in the kitchen. She's cooking for us. Later you can have her in your bedroom." The tom snickered.
Talos took a deep breath, slipping away into another almost empty room. He peeked over to the wall, seeing the "boss" A large, dark tom that was almost bigger than Talos, which was huge because Talos was a very big cat.
Talos felt himself whisking forward, flying down the hall way. He threw two darts at a cat walking down the hall and ambushed him, killing him quickly. To Talos, this was too easy. He drug the dead body into a closet. The building had stairs, and Talos ran up them.
'Kitchen...kitchen...' Talos though, then remembered smelling Crystal at the bottom of the stairs. Talos heard a sound, and then whipped around. Two cats walking towards him, too busy talking. Talos jumped into a room, hiding behind the door. The cats halted.
"I smell someone...I think it's-"
Talos jumped out of the room, kicking the cat in the jaw. He felt claws rip his pelt, and jerked back, stabbing the opponent in the shoulder. He could barely see what was going on, all he had on his mind was Crystal and finding her. Talos jumped to the side as a paw came flying his way. He lunged forward, biting his chest and stabbing the new knife through his face. The cat screamed in pain, and Talos tossed him to the side. He turned, feeling his body aching in pain, seeing the other cat stalking towards him. There was a sound at the bottom of the stairs. Talos turned to see what it was. It was two more cats heading his way, with knives in their mouths.
